just in case some of the ginzura shippers out there saw the translation of last chapter from the scans only, and read “i left a trump card of my own there” and kept reading like nothing special happened, please let me brighten up your day.

there was a translation on tumblr saying “i left something precious behind” and we were all swimming in sunshine, until the translated scans came out, it was like a tsunami fucking slapping us in the face. BUT the correct translation should be “something precious”. Some of us, confused and offended looked for the japanese version and the problem was とっておきの which has a really personal and important meaning behind it, that “trump card” doesn’t have.

even better, today every gintama fan in japan ran in the streets to buy their precious jump and twitter was filled with happy ginzura shippers all day long, they keep talking about zura’s face and the “とっておきの” part, (and would you look at this drawing daamn) and use “とっておきの” for everything, for instance my favorite one:

artist two: precious good morning!

artist one: precious thank you!
