The man who would come to be known as Katsura Kogoro was originally born as the youngest (records dispute fourth and fifth) son to a Samurai physician named Wada Masakage. At age 7, the littlest Wada was adopted into the Katsura family and entered Yoshida Shoin’s school to become the terrorist we all know and love.
