I really like the idea of hisoka getting into a fight but getting amnesia from it. Like let’s say illumi just hits him in the temple and he doesn’t even feel bad as he calls a taxi to drive hisoka to the hospital.

And as soon as the staff catches sight of this pink, trash clown, they get to work kind of checking hisoka out, finding hardly any records, taking his blood.

And naturally as well as ironically, leorio is there. He interns at the hospital, so when he hears that a clowns been admitted, he gets scared. He’s convinced that he should pull the fire alarm and start a mass evacuation because who else could it be but hisoka

So before leorio does something stupid, he goes up to find the redhead, and sure enough there’s hisoka is his poofy pants, sitting up with a frown on his face, head bandaged up

Leorio, being the bigger person, and trying not to cower in fear, goes against his better judgement and enters the room. And there’s zero recognition of him from hisoka, which kinda hurts, but leorio’s used to it.

So leorio crosses his arms and narrows his eyes behind his little glasses, asking the man what he’s doing here.

And hisoka’s like, “im sick?”

Leorio frowns, “what, you don’t know?”

“Are you my doctor?” hisoka would kind of beat around the bush, “you kind of seem familiar.”

And leorio would be pissed. Like, how could you forget him. “We took the hunter exam together. I’m leorio. Gon’s friend. You know, that guy you punched in the face.”

Hisoka would be like bup, I don’t know

So it all clicks, the amnesia thing, and leorio’s really amused at this point because not once has hisoka purred or leered or even asked about gon

And suddenly, hisoka looks up to leorio, takes a deep breath, and asks the most important question he can think of: “leorio…what the fuck am I wearing?”
